This is the winning digital artwork I made for a "Draw This in Your Style" Competition called "Likhaya". The competition was to recreate Sofia Andres and Shanel Salcedo's collaborative artwork in a different style.
Likhaya was created by The Lakambini, a Filipina feminist organization. They post empowering content and art actively on Facebook and Instagram for Filipino women.

I sketched out my idea on a whiteboard and captured my draft through my phone then loaded it on Adobe Photoshop to create a clearer draft. Afterwards, I used vectors in minimal colors and placed various textures above.
For the colors, I took inspiration from the famous Filipino painter, Fernando Amorsolo, popular for his mastery in light. I also took inspiration from neo-cubism, cubism, futurism, and various abstract paintings to come up with this style.
